Apparently the NYT got ahold of the transition team's questionaire for
potential appointees.
Talk about invasive. Of course, no questions on drug use, but they want to
know if you own a gun and all the registration information for it.

Another interesting question is if you have ever held a title with
restrictive convenants based upon ***, race, etc. My deed actually says
that
I cannot sell my property to "negros", but that of course is uninforceable
these days and is a consequence of owning a home in a formerly segregated
city in the south. Sorry Jolly, I know you got your hopes up.
Then there are the sections II and III questions which include some really
asinine questions.
