Don't know if anyone here reads Roger Ebert's blog. Like most blogs it has
its down days, but when it's good it's very, very good.
Here's his most recent entry, introspective as many of them are:

As context, Ebert has faced serious medical problems, which have left him,
as he notes in this column, unable to talk, eat and drink. There are
details
at the wikipedia page about him. This blog is a rumination on what he's
been
dealing with.
I've long appreciated Ebert as a critic, especially as I tried to better
understand film as a medium and tried to watch more and more challenging
movies. I don't always agree with his criticism, but I enjoy his writing
about film and other stuff.
