just to close the loop, i ended up with a Vizio 50" plasma. I was
hemming and hawing between that, at $1099, a 65" dlp at about $1500
and some smaller jobs around $799. When I saw that the Vizio had built-
in surround sound, i fell for it. (Bought at Costco, also shopped at
Best Buy).
so far, very happy, but the cable guy hasn't hooked up the HD yet.
