The Rose Award goes to David DeJesus of the Kansas City Royals, who
went three-for-five with five RBI and scored two runs in a 8-3 win
over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
DeJesus hit his first grand slam, helping the Royals win for the
second time in three games against the Diamondbacks. Gil Meche went
7-1/3 innings for his first victory since May 15, a span of six starts.
