Improvements

Okay, so far we look like a .500 team (which, embarassingly enough, is an
upgrade for this team).

What areas do we need to improve, and which are the priorities?  Is it
feasible that we will get enough improvement by next year to be a much
better than .500 team?

Immediate concerns I see are the lack of traditional power hitters in the
middle of the lineup, and a SS that doesn't remind me of Mario Mendoza.
