Apparently the chalk line of the batter's box is now considered an
extension of home plate.....today's home plate umpire seems to think so.
I know know why Mussina insists on Molina as his catcher...he has the
quickest hands I've ever seen....takes pitches off the plate, brings
them back in, and gets the call.
