Former Sonic Predrag Drobnjak expressed remorse about opting out of his
contract with Seattle before last season and signing with the Los Angeles
Clippers. He played in just 61 games in 2003-04 and averaged 6.1 points,
down from the 9.4 he averaged the year before in Seattle.
L.A. traded Drobnjak to Charlotte, which dealt him to Atlanta for a '05
second-round draft pick.
"I went to Los Angeles and was told some things that sounded real good,
but
they never happened," he said.
