Some good points

by "John" <noone@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 16, 2008 at 08:06 PM

I'll chime in here, first time all year.

I said to others at the start if the Bs win one game I'll be happy. Low
standards maybe but for a team the many picked to not only miss the
playoffs
this year but to finish close to last, and to go 0-10 against their
rivals,
they did better than anyone not on the team expected. With the exception

of the first period of game one with the Canadiens version of shock and
awe,
they've skated stride for stride with the team that is the best in the
east.
Tim Thomas has been "the guy". For someone who was slated to be the back
up
to Manny 'oh my knee again' Fernandez he's shown he belongs at the No. 1
spot.
Milan Lucic is the real deal. Perhaps he spends the summer with Mr. Neely

and gets a few pointers on how to slap a shot coming down the wing.
Gotta give credit to the Montreal fans, awesome spectacle at every game

Excuse time:
Chara is still hurt, that's obvious
Savard is hurt, that's not so obvious
This team has no finisher. Sturm and Murray can't buy a goal, and at the
wrong time
Bergeron, arguably their most skilled and best player, has been out all
year
Chara is still hurt, did I already mention that?
