We could have signed a couple prized free agents like Scott Hannan and
Ryan Smyth and been the talk of the league.
We could have followed that up by signing a couple more impact players
Toronto could no longer afford like Raycroft and Darcy Tucker.
We could have let HOF goalie Chris Osgood walk and have to deal with
Ty Conklin to burden the load.
We could have fired our coach and have him resurface coaching the
youngest, most exciting team in the West with a very bright future.
We could have just lost both ends of a home and home to our division
rival only being able to muster 18 shots in the 2nd one on our home
ice.
We could have dropped our 10th game of the season tonight, which is
tops in the West this young season and tied with Florida for the most
in the entire league.
We could have our biggest stupidest fan living up in Canada where the
Canadian dollar is now sinking to and all time low after the idiot
came running his mouth in here just a few months back about how the
Canadian dollar would soon pass the American Dollar in terms of value
on the open market.
Guess we'll just have to settle for our false Stanley Cups and watch
our Euro panzies continue to dominate the league just as they left off
last June.
