Weights v Cardio

I'm going to guess you are like most of the population who have to
balance life's demands and do not have sufficient time to work out
every day. By the way you do need to let your body rest from time to
time, so a gentle walk once or twice a week instead of working out is
a good idea!

I would recommend a 20 minute aerobic routine followed by 40 minutes
of weight-training. A good session of using weights that you notice
give resistance should be your aim.

Apparently the body returns to its resting metabolic rate an hour
after aerobic activity, but a weight training session will mean your
muscles will continue to burn calories for several hours after
exercise.

Have a look at my site at http://theapothecary.890m.com
for further
advice.
