Trail Hazards

by "hlillywh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <hlillywh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 2, 2008 at 02:50 PM

I don't know what the situation is in other areas but near Oregon's Mt
Hood, lack of trail mantenence has produced some hazardous
conditions. cf.

The shortage of funds, combined with a severe winter, means that
trails are in poor shape and in places dangerous. Anyone going into
that area should be extra careful. Don't be afraid to back off if
conditions indicate that is the wise course of action.

The mountain (or trail) will always be there another day. Aim to say
the same for yourself.
