I sup****ted Goldwater, too.

I have no idea what Bush is -- certainly not a conservative.
More than anything else, I think of him kinda like LBJ's
evil twin.

They both had trouble with reality, they both implemented
borrow-and-spend fiscal policies that debased the currency
and broke the economy, and they both fought stupid wars
extremely badly.

The difference is that LBJ showered taxpayer money on the
poor, while Bush has showered taxpayer money on the rich.
I'm not real fond of the government transferring wealth in
any case, but being a Christian I find giving to the poor
more morally defensible than giving to the rich.
