America has been reducing its oil usage for the past year.  The global use

continues to rise.  The amount of oil consumed world wide continues to go 
up.  Last month world wide use was higher than the previous month.  So a 
reduction in consumption can't be the reason oil dropped $10.00 per
barrel. 
(Thanks to yeadeagisss for pointing out my faux pas :-)  Consumption went 
up.

There is only one way to get the price of oil to drop.  Reduce the gap 
between supply and demand.  Drilling for more oil makes so much sense
there 
really is no point in discussing it.
