To me these carts are all over designed for what they have to do and
expensive too.
And they are hard to take with you.
Look for an old tricycle. The ones with the big plastic wheel on the front
and the small squatty ones on the back.
They are wide, sturdy and very light and cheap.
You need an axle and some half inch plastic pvc pipe and tees.
Make a small cradle out of the pipe and you have almost the same thing
that
you can just bungee to the yak.
You can make it very compact.
I've also made them with pipes that fit into the holes in the sit on tops.
Just plug them into the holes and away you go.
