Basically it burns as a sphere until it consumes the local O2 then it
puts itself out.
I think there are some combustion videos from shuttle and station
flights which might be on the web. I've got some friends going up in an
0-G plane soon, but flame experiments aren't really allowed.
You have to realize that fire on board any plane or space craft or some
place like the Arctic or Antarctic or ****ps/subs is regarded as
a pretty scary thing. The station has had a fire or 2, small ones.
It's the O2 consumption which is the scary part.
They still have to do experiments using combustion (in isolation).
They may be on YouTube or maybe soon if not on agency web sites (will in
a few years be on the Internet Archive, the guy doing that work was at
my work last week).
