I think the growing part of mountain biking is what
I actually do. It is more properly 'back road biking'
and a mountain bike is the best tool for the job.
I like to ride and find sharing pavement with autos,
trucks and the like both scary and not very
fulfilling aesthetically. So I find public back
roads, tote roads, cow paths, pent roads and
so forth and enjoy it a lot.
This suits old geezers like myself.
