Interesting world view. Is this a prophecy of sorts?
You say "economic problems, violence and crime" will lead
to a "peasant revolt" that doesn't shut down the nation entirely,
but restores freedom and the rule of the Constitution.
Do you have a timeframe for this prediction? What are
the leading indicators?
You say economic problems? What sort? Inflation?
Depression? Recession? Liquidity? Unemployment?
You say violence. Since seprate from crime do you mean
some violent oppression of the "peasants" by govermental
agents prior to the revolt?
And you say crime. Is this just more crime or a failure of
the governmental law enforcement?
And then the revolt.
This revolt that doesn't shut down the nation entirely,-- what
form will it take? Civil disobedience, vigilantism, violent
overtrhow? Who are these "peasants" in your scenario?
How numerous? How organized?
Who will be "first up against the wall" when the revolution
comes?
How long will the period of "revolt" last? How will the
peasants prevail? What will be the changes that restore
freedom and the rule of the Constitution? That is, what
will be different after the revolution?

Are travel controls before or after the peasant revolution?
If before, on what basis will they implement such internal security
checks? What level of government will implement them (city,
county, state, federal)?
