You are in an area of a lot of rain.
Suggestions for Goretex based shoes are likely not a good idea.
I don't know also how much you plan to do in snow.  It's not like I like
to do a lot of hiking in my Sorels.

Robson up high is now plastic boot terrain, but those aren't great for
general walking.  You should likely visit a outdoor store in your neck
of the woods, unless you have special foot requirements.
