Interesting world view. Is this a prophecy of sorts?
SM: Just my personal predictions.
You say "economic problems, violence and crime" will lead
to a "peasant revolt" that doesn't shut down the nation entirely,
but restores freedom and the rule of the Constitution.
Do you have a timeframe for this prediction? What are
the leading indicators?
SM: With the rapid change, I can see a revolt in the next twenty five
years.
Indicators? Much the same as the last time around. Over regulation, and
government micro management. Taxes on everything, and tax stamps on
everything.
You say economic problems? What sort? Inflation?
Depression? Recession? Liquidity? Unemployment?
SM: I can easily see inflation, and our savings accounts rapidly shrinking
in real buying power. Much as Germany after the war. One war or the other,
whichever it was.
You say violence. Since seprate from crime do you mean
some violent oppression of the "peasants" by govermental
agents prior to the revolt?
And you say crime. Is this just more crime or a failure of
the governmental law enforcement?
SM: I see both. Starting up, already. SWAT teams, and also ineffective law
enforcement. It's already here.
And then the revolt.
This revolt that doesn't shut down the nation entirely,-- what
form will it take? Civil disobedience, vigilantism, violent
overtrhow? Who are these "peasants" in your scenario?
How numerous? How organized?
SM: I am predicting a major tax withholding, the govt will respond with a
lot of PR and patriotism. The peasants in my guess will be the working
class, such as truckers and farmers.
Who will be "first up against the wall" when the revolution
comes?
SM: Each party will blame the other. The UN and Nato troops will be
brought
in to restore order. The foreign troops will be first to be either
captured
or executed.
How long will the period of "revolt" last? How will the
peasants prevail? What will be the changes that restore
freedom and the rule of the Constitution? That is, what
will be different after the revolution?
SM: I'm guessing two years. The Peasants will prevail through sabotage,
IED,
and good old fa****oned gurella tactics. A new party will be established
with
a very strict interpretation of the constitution.
> SM: Travel will be impaired both by weather, and also by government
> interference. Things like check points, searches at the air****t. They
may
> do
> vehicle searches at government check points along the roads, also.
Are travel controls before or after the peasant revolution?
If before, on what basis will they implement such internal security
checks? What level of government will implement them (city,
county, state, federal)?
SM: The travel controls have already started. And will be one of the "last
straw" triggers of the revolution. The basis will be to fight terrorism,
and
keep the public safe. Problem is, the public will be endangered by the
criminals the gov't is ignoring (and permitting to commit more crimes) at
present. The internal checks will be mostly federal. And, such are my
predictions. Worth about what you paid for them.
