Maybe, but I sympathise with the original point. Since the majority of
folk use the same knot, wouldn't it make sense to supply laces that work
with it?
I have two pairs of Scarpa shoes, one pair (Heliums) have round laces
that work very well. The other (Galaxies) have round laces that were a
bit prettier but stayed done up usually on the order of a few minutes
before coming loose. I replaced them.
