Great old Schwinn Paramount bike in the hard-to-find chrome finish.
According to the experts on the Schwinn Forum, this bike was built in
October, 1968. We have owned this bike since 1973, carefully stored
in our garage.

Constructed with lugged Reynolds 531 tubing and Campagnolo drop outs.
The head badge remains but there are no other decals. Frame is free
of dents. We wiped the frame off but it could use a good scrubbing.
Put some decals on it and it would look nearly new (the best thing
about chrome!).
The frame is equipped with the Schwinn Approved brakes having Weinmann
levers and &boots. It has Cinelli stem and bars. It is equipped with
a Brooks B17 saddle. The rest of the gear is all Campagnolo,
including cranks, rings, front and rear deralieurs, finger-tip ****ft
levers, headset, cable guides, seatpost, etc. The matching Silca pump
is included (needs new rubber tip).
The wheels have Phil Wood sealed-bearing hubs and Super Champion
27x1-1/4 rims, and they were built by Spence Wolf of the Cupertino
Bike Shop.
