Plenty of good resorts within easy distance have been mentioned but
you could also have a look at Les Saisies which is a very good family
resort with well above average snow record. It is probably the closest
decent resort to Albertville and cheaper than many of the big name
resorts. Ski area is the large Espace Diamant with 185km of slopes.
