The Rose Award goes to Carlos Ruiz of the Philadelphia Phillies, who
went two-for-three with two RBI and scored one run in a 5-4 win over
the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
Ruiz's dribbler up the third base line with the bases loaded in the
ninth drove in the winning run.
Tampa Bay's Evan Longoria tried to get an out at home plate with an
underhanded toss that would've made softball player Finch proud, but
the ball sailed over the catcher and there was no play.
