The Visit

by arahim <arahim_arahim@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 26, 2008 at 02:19 AM

Tim May and Sean Morris are finally convinced by PCB to visit Pakistan
along with the New Zealand team to look at the security measures for
themselves. As part of the security tour they are taken to a bazaar to
show that it is safe. There is a poor vendor selling some clay pots.
Tim May likes the design on the pot and shows it to Sean Morris who
concurs that it is a very good design indeed. They show it to the New
Zealend team who ooh and ah on it. So Tim May asks the vendor how much
it was for. The vendor says Rs. 50. Tim May gives the vendor a look
with his eyes arched.
"Are you trying to rip us off. Its a clay pot will probably break in a
few days."
The vendor say, " Sir, since you are a guest here you can have it for
forty".
"And you are probably copying someones design its probably not very
original." Sean adds.
"I do need the money sir, you can have it for thirty."
The New Zealand team guffaws, "Ha he needs us." Then to the vendor,
"You should be ashamed that you sell over priced wares to us. How do
we know this thing won't start leaking as soon as tomorrow?"
The vendor says, "I will give it to you for twenty."
"You poor sod you should be glad that we even came to look at your
shop."
By this time the vendor is quite angry and in his rage says, "You can
have it for free sir."
The visitors give the fellow a few strange looks and whisper to
eachother then Tim May emerges,
"We'll each take two."
