Mike, remarkable post, thanks for saying this. People like JZF would
be insisting on this tour happening if - God forbid - England was
attacked once again. However, one thing we cannot ignore is that most
of us are prisoners of our Jungian collective unconscious. It is
normal, although not logical, for an Aussie to feel safer in UK after
7/7 than in India following this attack. It's not fair, it's may not
even be sensible, but there it is. And I do not have too much problem
accepting that.

Absolutely, but there is more to it. Civilized nations have a moral
obligation to help each other. I know it does not happen often
enough; and therefore when it does, it needs to be lauded. An English
tour would be very useful right now to lift up the spirits of this
gentle populace ravaged by barbarian attacks.
