Even if you remove the absolute seeding, the format still makes it
more advantageous to be seeded second in your pool rather than first,
and fifth in your pool rather than fourth. I've just never seen a
format that rewarded lower seeds before, even though I have no problem
with it for the purposes of this tournament. If this were a series
event, then we would definitely have an issue.
