Surely you jest. Just to BE there - to qualify for the Olympic Games -
means that you are one of the best in the world, period.
No Olympc athlete has to win a medal to gain my respect. I know (from
training with world-class swimmers in my youth) what kind of
determination and dedication it takes to make it to the Games, and I
have great admiration for anyone who does.
Show Canadian Olympians the respect they have EARNED.
