If we are still talking CFL then...
The only team laughing then would be the Edmonton Eskimos who
presently have 10+ million in the bank due to having a reasonable size
stadium and a devoted fan base.

Next up might be the Roughriders who made a record 1.6M profit last
year and with 10 sellouts (17 consecutive) will likely break that this
year (especially if they get a home playoff game which would be worth
about 0.5M on its own.  The Riders have several supplemental
fund-raising efforts that cover the Province that no other team can
match.

Last would be the Alouettes with only a 20k capacity stadium - they
would be forced to go back to the big OWE!

NOW BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION:  Why are the games on Saturday and
why so early in the day instead of late afternoon?  Can anybody answer
that, please???  Sunlight?  Weather?  Stadium availability?  A Mark
Cohon experiment gone stupid?
