Earle Bruce was the Ohio State head coach from 1979 to 1987. During
those years, he hired the following assistant coaches:
Pete Carroll (1979)
Nick Saban (1980-81)
Jim Tressel (1983-85)
Urban Meyer (1986-87)
How he went only 9-3 every year with that kind of talent on his staff, I
can't imagine...
