Actually, in Jericoaracoara, there is a lagoon where you can sail, I
think it was called Lagos Azul. You'll get the strong Jeri winds, but
in flat water, and I think it's pretty shallow too.
If you're sailing a 130 liter board, it's time to learn waterstarting.
You're getting into higher winds, with choppy water, and you won't
always be getting a lagoon to sail on. I've seen too many beginner-
intermediate sailors who stick with uphauling because they think it's
easier. In fact, you're really limiting your progress rather severely.
You can learn waterstarting in a day, and in a couple more days you'll
have it perfected. Once you've learned, your sailing can improve a
thousand percent. Just do it.
