Swap meet coming up.
Just got a new wave ski (not a jet ski.... sort of a sit-down
surfboard - viz http://tinyurl.com/3n7y4q
) and now my board
rack is overloaded: http://tinyurl.com/4jyw35
Something's gotta go.
What'll it be?
----------------------------------------------------------------
Carve 123: Wood construction. This one's been sitting on the
rack since I bought the Aero 127. This was my only board for
several years. I'm 215# and it floats me just fine.
Carve/Aero 127: Wood construction. A little more specialized
than the Carve 123. More surfey, more float, less acceleration.
Carve 144: Wood construction. My fellow sailors were on my case
for at least 3 years telling me I needed a bigger board. Finally
caved in to peer pressure and bought this baby. They were
right. What more can I say? Only reason I'm selling it is
that I want to get a JP in the same size bc JP offers a center
rear foot strap to accommodate my size 15's.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
If you're shopping, don't underestimate the value of wood
construction. Personally, I don't want anything else any more.
I had a chance to A/B the 144 with my 7.5 on it with a guy who
had the same 144, but in Dram and had an 8.5 on it.
He couldn't get over how much more lively and responsive my
wood-construction 144 was than his in Dram.
Lakes' swap meet is coming up on May 17th, just thought I'd throw
these out there for somebody to think about if they're shopping.
Prices TBD at the swap meet.
Oh yeah, there's gonna be a RealWinds custom, about 120L, carbon
wrap construction too.... make an offer..... any offer....
