Re: Recommend board for learning waterstarts

I'd have to agree.  For the most part, learning to waterstart has very
little to do with the actual board.  The only exception to this would
be that with particularly wide boards, you may have the temptation to
put your feet out on the rail rather than close to the board's
centerline thus causing the board to round up.  But for the most part,
learning to waterstart is more about getting the board aligned
properly and getting your feet in the right spot.  I'd say you're
better off getting a board that's suits your normal conditions and
sailing goals.
