My wife is Chilena and I'm Spaniard living in the SF Bay Area.
Pichilemu goes off during their summer, December thu March. Good
surfing and windsurfing. You might also want to check out Matanzas and
Topocalma for unreal wave sailing. You'll need a wetsuit. Rentals in
Santiago. If you like more flat water and high winds, go to Puclaro,
one hour inland from La Serena. .Winds funnel up the river all the way
to Puclaro dam (embalse de Puclaro) super steady high winds. This web
site has some info in spanish, a little bit meaasy to navigate
through. www.windsurf.cl
