I had a great time at Rio Vista once last Sept, it was less windy than
the previous time I'd been there, but still like wind tunnel, and I
had a smaller 5.0 sail.

The Vinta is out, I am just so tired of lugging it around. It weighs
a ton. Once last summer I tried my friends board, I think it was called
a Nimba, not that small but very light, made of ding-able fiberglass. It
was wonderful to ride and much faster. I want something like that, but
I haven't been able to find one of those.
So based on those links you gave me, which were very helpful, I'm
narrowed it down to these options:
Fanatic Triple X 2004, vol 139, $700

2006 Starboard Go, vol 155, $850

2007 Naish Icon Freeride, vol 145, $750

I'm leaning toward the Go because it seems like a popular choice, and I
think it's well padded and thus less likely get dinged. Does that seems
like a decent choice?
