Yeah, it gets kind of ridiculous when you start to tally what it costs
to hit the water these days. Luckily for me I have an option that's
only 12 miles round trip, although I like sailing different places and
chasing the wind, so I often end up crossing at least one bridge ($4-5
bridge toll around here) and driving in the 30 mile range. If that's
rounded to two gallons of gas plus a bridge toll, that $12 a sesh. We
definitely carpool more these days for the longer hauls.
I'm really looking forward to some warm delta daze this summer... but
it's 120 miles round trip w/ two bridge tolls :-( That's $40! Oh
well... it's not like I can help myself, so might as well suck it up
and have fun while I'm there. hehe
