Rob, you sure are going to stir things up. There are a lot of people
who are just about nuts when it comes to sail design, especially the
designers. Both sails are X-Ply, except for the windows. The Ezzy
has such a small vinyl window that I can't imagine most sailors can
feel the stretch, but some will say they can. The Sailworks monofilm
window will eventually get brittle, but it shouldn't stretch. Naish
sails have an X-Ply section with fewer threads for better visibility
and Goya doesn't even bother with a window (you can see thru X-Ply)
which makes sense to me. I wouldn't let window material affect my
choice all that much, compared to other variables. BTW, I don't
currently own any of the above. Oh my, here come the slings and
arrows anyway.
