Ezzy likes to "soften" his sails with a bit of neoprene at the head
and foot. This may add to the perception of a soft feeling sail that
most may simply attribute to the window. Depends on what you like.
Over here in FL, lots of people prefer a more focused pull that comes
from A*****ech sails,or others'. Check A*****echsails.com. No monofilm
windows on most sails in the line. No stretchy, spongy feel from these
sails. Most comparable would be the Phantom or Free Speed. Both are
surf tough should you need to at least get thru some surf from time to
time to sail... Retro is flat water only with the tube battens.
