Update: One of the racers at the US Open Regatta here in Corpus
Christi brought me a sail to repair and I asked him about another
racer who's pic was in the newspaper today. In the pic, the racer was
wearing a wide brimmed hat while racing Formula. The racer turned out
to be Ken Mertens so my customer called him to find out about his hat.
