It's been a long time ago for me too, so I might be off the mark.

The old alu front end inserted into the boom tubes.  Conversely, the
boom arms insert into the new carbon front end.  Therefore, the
injection holes on the new front end should be found a few cms from
the ends of starboard and ****t sides of the new front end.  Do not
drill into the hollw boom arms because epoxy would inject uselessly
inside rather than between the front end and the arm.  You must be
sure to tightly tape the joint between each arm and the front end to
ensure that epoxy spreads between the front end and each arm rather
than leaking out the end.

I suppose you can drill injection holes into the front end (top and
bottom!!) if what was supplied does not have the holes.

The only other advice I will offer is to be sure to tension the boom
with a line from front to back as describe in the pdf file:

 If you don't the
arms will not align and the tail piece will bind.

Rest assured, once you have the old front end off, the rest is
easy !!!
