Which GPS for windsurfing

by Jesper Kaas <jesperk@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 8, 2008 at 08:49 PM

I finally managed to kill my Garmin Foretrex 201 GPS. That was done by
putting it in soap-water ( to wash the wrist strap). The display is now
3/4
filled with water, so I think it is over and out.

If it wasn't for the problem with water getting in, I would by another
Foretrex. My unit started having problems caused by water inside after
about a year (now is the third season). A good drying in a warm place
usually fixed it in a day or two.

Are there any alternatives to the Foretrex 201 that don't have leaking
problems, and that can 1) communicate with a PC, 2) be worn on the wrist?

Thanks for any input.
